Superior software consulting...
When breadth and depth count

It's sometimes hard to know the real thing in the software industry. It seems that many of today's "senior software pros" really have just a few years experience. I have spent more than two decades at a variety of startups, established companies, and most recently in my own consulting practice. Now, with a post-boom wave of serious software companies taking shape, I have once again joined a startup. I am excited about the team and technology at Disruptive Tech.

But, there's a catch. Disruptive Tech is in stealth mode and, for the foreseeable future, it is also equity-only. So, the bread and butter continues to come from my SITEGEAR consulting.

With many years of industry experience and a decade of consulting, I have a sense of where my skills and knowledge bring real value to a project. I find there's a need for seasoned software pros who see the big picture…for CTO-like engineers who have the depth and breadth to analyze both the business and the technical requirements, who can design and implement pragmatic solutions.

Consulting also hones some attributes I've found just as crucial as technical expertise in getting the job done effectively and efficiently:

  • the capacity to gain the confidence and cooperation of clients and co-workers, and
  • the ability to communicate effectively with other engineers, management and client customers

So, if you're looking for a software pro with more than a few years' experience and a "big picture" view of solutions, give me a call or send me an email. I'm a quick study and will be able to tell you if I can help you. If not, I'll do my best to refer you to an experienced colleague who can.
